Built to inspire, Avant Garde Toronto occupies a building with a rich history of supporting artistic expression. Prior to becoming Avant Garde, 218 Merton Street was home to various galleries and creative spaces, nurturing Toronto’s vibrant arts community for years. We are proud to continue that legacy, transforming the building into a multi-functional venue that celebrates creativity in all forms — from contemporary art and fashion showcases to community events, corporate functions, weddings and beyond.
